McCoy Hill based in Devon are one of the UK’s leading contractors providing property care services and building solutions (everything from damp proofing to basement conversions). Coldpie & Freshbread were tasked with updating the design of the site as well as to provide a showcase to the growing number of services which McCoy Hill provide.

Living Needs are experts in wet room technology and installation as well as Home & Bathroom Adaptions (for disabled, less able and elderly people). The new websites objectives are to position Living Needs as The local provider of wetrooms & to encourage customers to consider purchasing or visiting the showroom.

Own Cocoon Property Development offer quality rural barn, cottage and unique, traditional or contemporary home conversions throughout Somerset and Devon. They required their web presence to be simple, clean and yet as informative as possible.

T&C Insurance is a Devon based indepenedent intermediary offering house, business, motor and other insurance services as well as financial advice. The brief was to provide a more modern looking feel from their existing site and to also offer quotations for each insurance type – either to be completed online or for download. A quotes modules was built on top of coldpie site admin (CMS) so that staff could easily administer and print completed quotation requests.

Sue Martin (my mum) is a talented fused glassware artist based in Barnstaple, North Devon. She creates jewelery, plates and other gifts which are displayed and sold through the website. coldpie was tasked with creating a site which showed off the art effectively and yet was easy to use. A ecommerce module was built into coldpie site admin (CMS) so that Sue could effectively manage stocks and purchases. The system ties in seemlessly with Paypal.

Swordfish are a film and video editing company based in Soho, central London. coldpie was tasked with building a front-end brochure website to advertise their services and skills and also a back office client area so that completed and in progress videos could easily be displayed to clients. The site allows Swordfish to create and manage clients and jobs and attach videos and comments as needed. The client area also allows clients to send messages to Swordfish concerning each clip.

Wright Lettings are an independent firm specialing in residential lettings and property management. The new site was comissioned after the company was acquired by new owners. Part of the build involved intergrating the companies current offline property management software with the new site so that new properties could be displayed without the need for extra effort from Wright Property staff. A property module was added to coldpie site admin (CMS)

Blakewell Fisheries, based in North Devon, offer quality trout and fly fishing for fishers of all levels as well as a farm shop and a family fishing area. In addition they sell water gardens and water features. The brief was to follow their current brand guidelines and offer a website which encompassed the full range of activities and services they provided. The site is built using coldpie’s site admin (CMS) and allows the site owner to update the site with photos and news.

Hartview is a consultancy ran by Alison Malton. Alison approached coldpie to create a small brochure site to show the services she offers to potential clients. Coldpie created the logo and all design.

Accountancy Experts is a new company offering affordable outsourced accountancy solutions to SMEs and individuals. The simple brochure site was created to reflect the services available and allow the site owner to add and edit pages and content as the company grows.

The National Association of Supporting Artistes Agents approched coldpie to update their current website and offer them the ability to quickly and easily update the site agent contact information, news and meeting minutes. As part of the system a members area was built with login and NASAA were given the functionality to add and remove users.

A small micro-site for the promotion of my brother’s book “You Can Be A Movie Extra” (by Rob Martin through Titan books). The site’s aim is to operate as a teaser for the content of the book – with the ability to find more information about Rob and / or to Buy the Book.

Into the Blue Pools (formerly Ashford Swimming Pools) required a new website following a rebranding excerice conducted by FreshBread. The site had to be simple, clear and easy to navigate whilst also showing off the range of products available. The site has a news section for sales information and a product listing grouped by product type. The site uses coldpie’s ecommerce module but with option to buy products hidden.
